At The Book Garden, we believe in the power of new chapters. We are proud to support survivors of abuse and exploitation within our city. After covering our basic operating costs, all profits from the bookshop go directly to individuals or to support the work of various NGOs and organizations in Athens that offer essential care and resources to women who have been hurt or abused.

We are honored to support our friends at Threads of Hope Hellas by featuring their handmade products right here in the shop.
Threads of Hope provides dignified employment to survivors who have been trained in the craft of making high-quality bags and homewares. These beautiful, meaningful products do more than just look good—they help change the narrative of a person's life by providing a path to independence.
To keep the focus on the actual impact and the partnership, I suggest calling this page "Our Partners" or "The Mission." This avoids the "Happy Ending" phrasing while highlighting the tangible work being done through the shop.
